New Corner and Entry Relief
ESPRIT provides users the option to either add a radius or a chamfer to sharp internal and external corners by utilizing Corner and Entry witness Relief.
Follow regular toolpaths without having to reduce the feed rate in corners and affect the precision of the final part geometry with ESPRIT 2016. Corners that already have integrated radii, will have extra clearance added to them with the new corner and entry witness relief feature in ESPRIT.
Increased feedrate for corners Maintain final part geometry Options for radius or chamfer on internal corners
Optional Cut-Off Clearance
Add additional clearance to only the cut-off pass in ESPRIT to prevent the need for additional grinding.
Easily specify additional clearance for cut-off moves in ESPRIT 2016. This prevents additional grinding for non-cutting punches or dies. The new Optional Cut-Off clearance can be added or subtracted.

Simplify Rough Cutting
To prevent burrs using ESPRIT, the entry/exit point on the rough pass can be converted to a direct move without affecting the radius of the entry/exit point during skim passes.
In ESPRIT 2016 convert both entry and exit rough passes into direct moves to avoid the creation of burrs without affecting the radius of entry and exit points during skim passes.
Prevent burrs on dies Increase finished part quality
New Feature: Optimize First Cut-off
A new option has been added to the advanced operation sorting tab in ESPRIT 2016 to prevent the wire from being rethreaded in an area where there is no pre drilled hole present. The Optimize First Cut-Off option ensures that the wire will be rethreaded at the initial location of the pre-drilled hole, and that the wire path will not undergo modification.
