ESPRIT CAM software by DP Technology has been selected as a partner in the DMG MORI Qualified Products Program. Only the best partners and products make this list — and DMG MORI back each with its comprehensive service and warranty. DMG MORI USA created the Qualified Products Program to facilitate the technology-acquisition process, providing customers with a single, optimized source for manufacturing equipment and peripherals.
By working with industry-leading partners, they provide a total package: the broadest, most capable line of machine-tool technology and the world’s best tooling, automation, accessory, workholding and software products — all engineered to work seamlessly with DMG MORI machines.
ESPRIT delivers an out-of-the-box approach for programming DMG MORI’s multi-tasking machines, such as post processor writing and machine definition. Program DMG MORI multi-tasking machines with a complete, pre-configured solution developed by DP Technology. ESPRIT’s mill-turn prowess is the ultimate result of collaboration with machine builders and DP’s focused software development for this specific class of machine tools. The ESPRIT/DMG MORI cooperation demonstrates the concept of a machine tool manufacturer and CAM software vendor partnering to produce a complete solution.
ESPRIT is pre-packaged to run the complete line of DMG MORI machine tools.
ESPRIT for DMG
DMG and DP Technology are collaborating in response to increasing demand from users who desire software that yields better production value and greater machining utilization. Comprehensive in its ability to handle DMG’s most advanced machines, ESPRIT fulfills the demands of the most challenging machining applications, and instills the confidence programmers require to tackle complicated parts while dramatically reducing programming time.
ESPRIT is the right choice for programmers, manufacturers and machinists seeking to fully exploit their DMG machine tool investments and enjoy the unparalleled freedom of advanced productivity. DMG and DP Technology continue ongoing development to maintain a suite of post processors and machining configurations within ESPRIT to support the full line of DMG machine tools.
The CTX Series is an intelligent “building-block” system ranging from a single-spindle chuck machine to a universal turning /milling center. This trend-setting technology is now available in the CTX beta/gamma series, which offers lasting precision with a dynamic linear drive.

The SPRINT 20 Linear is a CNC automatic lathe and horizontal turning machine tool that features the flexibility and performance of a standard-equipped eight axis.
The SPRINT 65 Linear completes the SPRINT Linear Series for diameters up to 65 mm. With three revolving heads and a Y axis, this new machine tool performs simultaneous machining with three independent tools.
A new turning machine by Gildemeister Italiana, the SPRINT 50 has three turrets with up to three Y axes, offering minimized cycle times due to parallel machining at the main and counter spindle with three tools.
The DMU 100 P duoBLOCK 5-axis machine ensures ultimate precision for the machining of complex workpieces.
The GMX Linear series delivers top performance for six-sided complete machining.
With the GM series, Gildemeister Italiana has developed a product line that maximizes the technological know-how of the largest European manufacturer of 6-spindle automatic bar machines.
Mori Seiki – Integrated with MAPPS
ESPRIT computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) software is incorporated in the Mori Seiki MAPPS IV control, which enables the programming of 3D shapes and complex, added-value workpieces. This technology allows for complex programming while maintaining ease-of-use and flexibility.
The software also monitors the collision of spindles, workpieces, soft jaws, tools, holders and turrets — and stops the machine tool in the event of interference.
“The integration of ESPRIT addresses the previous shortcoming for complex multi-axis machines, in terms of conversational programming. Now there’s a full-blown multi-axis system in the control for programming, editing, and simulating the toolpath of more complex components.” Greg Hyatt, vice president of engineering and chief technical officer for DMG/Mori Seiki USA, Inc.
The NLX Series was developed with independent platforms for the turning, milling and Y-axis specifications to ensure the optimal machine design for each specification. See a camshaft machined in ESPRIT.
The NZX series is a high-precision, high-efficiency multi-axis turning center. See the NZX series program a gear.
The NTX 1000 is an ideal choice for machining small precision parts for medical equipment and measuring instruments, which have complex shapes but need high-precision and high-efficiency machining. See a hip implant machined in ESPRIT.

The NMV Series is Mori Seiki’s fastest, strongest 5-axis machine, offering unparalleled high-speed, high-precision complex-part machining.
The NH series is a high-precision horizontal machining center.
The ESPRIT simulation engine is used in Mori Seiki manufacturing suite software as a simulation engine to simulate the part being machined directly from the NC code.
